I’m so shocked…
Not content to be one-upped by its European counterpart, Nintendo of America has released some more footage from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild today. This short video showcases some of the different weapons Link will be getting his hands on.

I’m liking the broadsword Link struggles to swing. That reminds me of Ninja Gaiden, though I doubt Breath of the Wild will be anywhere near as difficult. Hopefully Hero Mode is unlocked from the start so I can punch out walls in fits of anger from the beginning. I have been meaning to expand the kitchen…
While the performance doesn’t look any better in this clip than the one from yesterday, I’m beginning to think this may have more to do with video compression than anything. There are some moments where the game seems to be running at straight 15 frames per second, but then in other moments, it runs smoothly.
Whatever the case may be, I’m getting pumped by seeing all of this. Zelda fans have waited years to even learn the name of the game, let alone how we would be playing it. This just looks better every time I see it.
