On this week’s edition of Art Juice, I have taken yet another topical subject and provided an artistically subversive retort on the matter. With our paint and our clay, shall we rock the establishment! This one is called, “Marcus Fenix’s Kirby Nightmare.”
Last week, both Gears of War 3 and Kirby Mass Attack were reviewed, which caused some gamers to directly compare the two. I imagine, though, what would it be like if Marcus Fenix and Kirby ever actually did meet? Wouldn’t the consequences be interesting to look at with our eyes? Well, ponder no longer.
You’ll notice the stark use of color really communicates the plight of Marcus, and says a little something about the human condition to boot! I think we all feel like Marcus sometimes, trapped inside our own pink balls — of inner conflict — and hoping to be spit out at the Waddle-Dees of self-realization!
It’s something to think about, wouldn’t you agree?
