If you’re like me and you’ve been obsessing over Steven Universe for the past month, this news should excite you! Cartoon Network Games is set to release a Steven Universe RPG for mobile devices on April 2.
Developed by Grumpyface Studios, Attack the Light features an original story by the show’s creator, Rebecca Sugar, and puzzle-solving, turn-based gameplay inspired by games such as Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario. Sounds amazing so far!
The trailer is from earlier this year, but it still looks pretty great. Steven appears to be the healer of the group, which is appropriate, and there are some neat references to specific episodes with things like the Together Breakfast item. I’m just excited to play a game featuring the Crystal Gems!
Attack the Light can be found on the iOS App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon App Store, but there’s no word on the price just yet.
