Don’t get your hopes up for today’s Battlefield: Bad Company 2 downloadable content. It’s new player skins for the four multiplayer classes and camouflage for the M16A2, UMP-45, MG3, and M95 Sniper. Each class “kit” will cost 160 Microsoft Points or 440 Points for the whole lot.
Here’s where it gets weird. You can only buy this content if you live in Europe, and only Xbox 360 is getting this stuff tomorrow; the PlayStation 3 and PC DLC kits are coming later. If you happen to be in the US, you’ll need to use promo codes from Dr. Pepper to download the add-ons.
Additionally, having all four kits will bring a combined 12 in-game awards and 4 Achievements to Bad Company 2. Like I said, this is a weird scenario to say the least. Ideally, console players would get the soon-to-be-released PC patch before paid DLC started rolling out, but that’s so not going to happen.
