Yesterday, the BAFTA Game Awards 2024 honored the past twelve months of the industry. Hosted by comedian and former Taskmaster contestant Phil Wang, the show was a celebration of what gaming has achieved recently.
As is typical with a lot of award shows, there were some varying attempts at humor. Which is a shame because, knowing Phil’s work, I suspect he was not responsible for a lot of the jokes written on the teleprompter.
Still, it didn’t detract from the jubilation, as a lot of games released in the past year – as well as their respective developers – were given their due credits. Below are the list of all the winners and nominations from this year’s event.
