Best Cronen Squall MW2 loadout
When it comes to the Cronen Squall in MW2, the goal here is to maximize its potential at mid-range. If you use the right loadout, it can go toe-to-toe with some of the best assault rifles and marksman rifles at those mid-range engagements across multiplayer maps.
To do that, you’ll want to use this particular loadout:
- Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Ammo: 6.8 High Velocity
- Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
The goal here is to have a simple optic attachment that doesn’t have you zoom in too much. In addition, the High Velocity rounds ensure that you have a nice heft to your shots that can pierce walls, windows, and the like to finish off someone that you are in the middle of a fight with.
Best Cronen Squall Warzone 2 loadout
When it comes to Warzone 2, you want to use the Cronen Squall in a bit of a different way. Since Al Mazrah and Ashika Island are both larger and more open than most of the multiplayer maps you find in MW2, you need to take advantage of that with this gun.
The goal here is to emphasize the versatile nature of the weapon, making sure it is great at not just the mid-range fights but longer-range ones, too. This is where certain attachments come into play.
Here is the best loadout you can use for this battle rifle in battle royale matches:

- Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Optic: Aim OP-V4
Unlike in multiplayer, the massive battle royale matches mean that you want a heftier optic attachment for longer ranges. In addition, the larger magazine is so much more important here, so you can keep in the fight for longer against the potentially hundreds of foes you’re up against.
