Depending on whether you’ve been playing since Alpha or Beta, Destiny is a universe that’s been around for a decade, spawning a sequel, DLCs, expansions, and dozens of seasons. As such, there’s a ton of Destiny 2 merch for you to buy to celebrate it.
Be it collector’s editions, Grimoires, badges, coats, belts, or pieces of artwork, Destiny 2 has been around long enough for almost everyone to have picked up at least one item. I’m a sucker for t-shirts (the charity ones specifically), and I love a good collector’s edition. But there’s so much more merch to explore.
The best Destiny 2 merch to buy in 2024
Below, I’ve listed the best Destiny 2 merch you could hope to buy this year. I’ve tried to include a decent range of products so there’s something for everyone. Each entry also has a link to the exact product, so you know exactly where to get it. While I think they’re all essential for Destiny 2 fans, I’ve ranked them from the lowest priority on your shopping list at the top here to the highest priority at the bottom
10. Cayde-6 T-Shirt
There are a lot of Destiny 2 and Cayde-6 t-shirts out there, but I think this one might be the best. That’s because it’s based on what might be the greatest expansion the game has ever received, Forsaken, and features one of Cayde-6’s classic and unforgettable lines, “You’re my favorite, don’t tell anyone.”
If you’ve been playing the game for a few years now, this shirt will hit a little harder because of the emotions this character and that expansion bring up. While he eventually made it back in The Final Shape, this was the last we saw of Cayde-6 for a good long while after Forsaken.
9. Hive Worm plushie
Numskull makes some fantastic products, and this Hive Worm plushie is one of the best pieces of Destiny 2 merch I’ve seen. It takes something that’s pretty grotesque from the game and makes it into a cuddly toy you want to curl up with while you sleep or bingle a sci-fi show on Netflix. Just don’t get caught off-guard by its glow-in-the-dark eyes.
Hive Worms are the lowest of the low. They’re the creatures you’ll see floating around in the filth of any area this race of zombie aliens occupies. Slowly growing into Thralls in the hopes of one day becoming something more. There’s something about the juxtaposition of their in-game appearance and the plushie that makes them even more appealing.
8. Fallen Baby plushie
I could fill this list of Destiny 2 merch with plushies alone, but I’ve kept it to two for now because this Fallen Baby one is a moment in the game’s history. As with the Hive Worm plushie, this is an adorably cuddly pillow you can snuggle up with to keep you warm and cozy while you play or watch anything.
When Season of the Splicer was first revealed for Destiny 2, all anyone could talk about was Fallen Babies. These were added in as a way to almost humanize The Fallen, giving them something defenseless to protect so you didn’t mind housing them in The Last City. All the community did was make memes about how they’d die for these babies, and so the Fallen Baby Plushie was born.
7. Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Journal
I love a good journal for my work and personal life, but I also keep one handy while I play games. They’re great for noting things you won’t remember later or want to return to. I used one for Elden Ring, and it proved to be invaluable. This The Witch Queen journal is an essential piece of Destiny 2 merch because it has so many uses and looks great whenever you pull it out.
6. Destiny 2 Mousepad
Regardless of where you play Destiny 2, we all use a mousepad more than we think in 2024. It could be at work, home, or both, but with so many jobs offering remote working, they’re part of our daily lives. That’s why I think this mousepad is a great piece of Destiny 2 merch. There are a few designs to choose from, all of which look fantastic and will help you feel like a part of the community all day. Even if you’re not playing, especially when you are.
5. Eris Morn collectible duck vinyl figure
Vinyl ducks have been a craze for more than a decade, and I’m pretty sure you could find one for any franchise or licensed property on the planet at this point. There are several to choose from for Destiny 2, but I think Eris Morn is the best. It’s a fun piece of Destiny 2 merch because it takes such a serious character who doesn’t ever really get jokes and ends up transforming herself into a bit of a monster and puts her into a figure that should only ever encapsulate fun. I also love the eyes.
Eris is one of the core Destiny 2 cast for me. I met her in the first game and just adore her backstory and character arc. She’s a Guardian who was almost broken by a Hive god and survived in the darkness of a Hive stronghold, emerging with only a piece of her Ghost intact that she’d gone through more than hell to preserve.
4. Destiny 2 Beyond Light Savathun, The Witch Queen Figure
I’ve purchased a lot of Destiny 2 merch in my time, but all the biggest pieces are collectible versions of the games. However, one model that almost made me put myself into debt was the Savathun model. It’s massive, gross, and would look great on any bookshelf. She’s the boss of the Beyond Light expansion and a character who was messing with players for years before she even appeared.
Savathun has been part of some of the biggest lore twists and turns in Destiny 2 history. She took control of Osiris and even forced this universe’s equivalent of a wish dragon to do her bidding. Even in death, she wasn’t dead, but we all gave her a final ending when Eris Morn used her for a Hive ritual in Season of the Witch.
3. “I’m coming home Ace” bracelet
“I’m coming home Ace,” is what Cayde-6 said right before he was murdered at the start of the Forsaken expansion. It’s a line I’ll never forget from one of my favorite characters in any video game. That’s why I, and any Destiny 2 player, would think this bracelet is one of the best pieces of Destiny 2 merch ever made and want to wear it.
2. Zavala and Drifter stickers
Stickers are some of the best cheap Destiny 2 merch you can get. they’re small and can go with anything, and there’s such a variety out there that it’s easy to justify getting one, two, or ten for all the things you need to customize. I love this Zavala one and this Drifter one the best because they take the identity of each character and make them into incredible little images that’ll make you smile each time you look at them.
1. Destiny: The Official Cookbook
I couldn’t create a list of the best Destiny 2 merch without including the best book to ever come from this universe. I adore this cookbook and use it pretty frequently. It’s full of recipes from the game and inspired by the game. My favorite to make and eat is the chunky chocolate chip cookie because you’re encouraged to make them as big as you want, and they taste delicious.
