While the new Jade Shadows update for Warframe has a new cinematic quest and frame as its highlights, the weapons are equally as important. Jade’s signature Evensong, Cantare, and Harmony weapons are the Yin to Stalker’s Dread, Despair, and Hate’s Yang. One such weapon in her arsenal appears to be the most interesting to players. Here’s the best build for the Evensong bow in Warframe.
The best mods for the Evensong build in Warframe
The Evensong is an interesting bow, focusing more on Status Effects than any special attack (outside of its charged arrows having explosive tips). Every shot applies seven Puncture stacks, reducing enemy damage by 100% and making shots against them have 35% increased Crit Chance. Kills also grant a buff that gives 35% Multishot, increased to 70% if running all three of Jade’s signature weapons. Given the nature of the bow, building for Multishot and Crit hits. These mods should do just that for you:
- Split Chamber
- Argon Scope
- Critical Delay
- Vital Sense
- Vile Acceleration
- Rime Rounds
- Firestorm
- Malignant Force
- Cautious Shot (Exilus)
The Exilus slot can be exchanged for a mod of your choice, but having Cautious Shot makes Charged Shots from the bow not stagger you. Knowing how I use explosive weapons, that’s some good protection against my own poor aim. The other mods here include some elemental mods, primarily since we’ll be firing those Charged Shots and having them explode, dealing damage to nearby enemies. If you want to spend extra Forma and have the mods, swapping any of these to Galvanized or Primed can be a welcome upgrade.
What is the best Arcane for Evensong?
Moving over to the Arcane, you have a few options you can take. Primary Deadhead is an obvious choice, granting damage on headshot kills which you’ll be doing anyway. Primary Merciless is similar, only you don’t have to think about headshots at all. If you happen to not have either, Longbow Sharpshot will give you nearly the same level of power.
