Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have a wide variety of assault rifles for players to use, but one of the most powerful is the FR 5.56, otherwise known as the FAMAS. Here are the best FR 5.56 loadouts for both MW3 and Warzone alike.
Best FR 5.56 build in MW3
The key with most classes in these two games is to not try and use the same attachments across both experiences. Multiplayer has different maps and modes, which require a different style compared to the open experiences in battle royale. As such, you want to be particular about your FR 5.56 build if you are looking to use it in MW3 multiplayer.
Here are the best attachments to use for the FAMAS in normal online multiplayer matches:
- Barrel: 435mm FR435
- Muzzle: T51R Billeted Brake
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Ammo: 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds
- Optic: Pure preference. However, I really like the Cronen Mini Pro and MK. 3 Reflector
The goal here is to make this weapon even more accurate than it already is. This makes the weapon quite fast and accurate at fairly long ranges, too. While it isn’t nearly on the level of battle royale, this gives you the ability to stand toe-to-toe with marksman and even sniper rifles on the multiplayer maps.
It also has some speed, though, which helps. That said, the one area you could change is the optic. The FAMAS doesn’t need an optic, so you could swap that out for a stock attachment like the FR Sprinter.
Best FR 5.56 loadout for Warzone
On the other hand, Warzone has a very different gameplay style with its massive battle royale maps like Urzikstan with up to 150 players in a single lobby. The vast open spaces mean you should use a mid-range weapon like the FAMAS much differently than you would in the closer-quarter maps in multiplayer.
As such, here is the best loadout to use for your FR 5.56 in Warzone:
- Barrel: 600mm FR Longbore
- Muzzle: T51R Billeted Brake
- Ammo: 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds
- Magazine: 45 Round Mag
- Optic: Aim OP-V4
The goal here is to make your range even further than in the MW3 variant. You sacrifice some of the mobility but you still retain the excellent accuracy and recoil control. Better yet, you also increase your magazine size to 45 rounds, instead of the usual 25. This lets your weapon last longer in fights without having to reload, which is great considering the number of enemies you may come across.
