Warframe’s Jade Shadows update has primarily centered around some of the new weapons you can acquire from the Ascension activity.
The Evensong, Cantare, and Harmony all seem like interesting weapons that should prove valuable in the right hands. However, one other weapon has come back from the dead thanks to its focus in the Jade Shadows quest alongside a new skin. Here’s the best build for the Hate in Warframe.
The best mods for the Hate in Warframe
Ah, the Hate. This weapon has been in Warframe for over a decade now, and while it’s the infamous melee weapon of the Stalker, it’s not a weapon that’s talked about much. This is despite it being a rather strong and easy-to-get scythe, even sporting an Incarnon Genesis form if you’ve reached the late game. Its strengths lie in its Normal Attack, so we’re looking to build around that including an intriguing pivot. Here’s the mods you should run:
- Reaping Spiral (Stance)
- Discipline’s Merit (Aura)
- Condition Overload
- Organ Shatter
- Weeping Wounds
- Blood Rush
- Primed Reach
- Primed Smite for current enemy (Corrupted, Grineer, Corpus, etc.)
- Berserker Fury
- Gladiator Might
Berserker Fury is the crux of this build, granting major attack speed after just two melee kills. Many of these other mods simply improve upon that with additional damage, Status Chance, and Range. The Discipline’s Merit is the wildcard here. While Heavy Attacks aren’t its strongest suit, having Tennokai proc can make it well worth the lost mod slot. As always, you can swap either Primed mod for their regular variant if you don’t have it. You can also swap the Smite mod for additional attack speed through Fury if you wish.
What’s the best Arcane for the Hate?
By far, your best Arcane is going to be Melee Animosity. Thanks to the use of Tennokai incentivizing Heavy Attacks, having standard melee attacks grant Crit Chance will help ensure each Tennokai proc does huge amounts of damage. If that isn’t your style, Melee Duplicate is a decent alternative for that extra attack.
