Lynette is an Anemo Sword character in Genshin Impact. Starting at Adventure Rank 25, everyone will receive Lynette for free! Once you have her, here are her best weapons, artifacts, and teams to make the best use of her.
Playstyles
Lynette’s particular niche is as an Anemo character who can deal Ousia-aligned damage to interact with Arkhe mechanics. Many Fontaine Mek enemies are aligned with either Ousia (indicated by a purple glow) or Pneuma (yellow glow). Hitting a Pneuma-aligned enemy with Lynette’s Skill can cause various effects, from inducing a stunned state to disabling some attacks.
Outside of Arkhe mechanics, Lynette is somewhat unremarkable. She still has value by virtue of her Anemo element, but unless you are specifically countering a Pneuma-aligned enemy, she is largely interchangeable with other Anemo options.
Lynette will generally use her Skill and Burst before swapping to other teammates. With Constellation 6, she can potentially stay on-field using Normal Attacks.
Weapons
Favonius Sword – Provides Energy for Lynette and her team. There is some RNG attached to whether or not she activates the passive, but she should have three instances of damage while on-field in normal play, which means three chances at activation.
Sacrificial Sword – Has a useful Energy Recharge secondary stat and allows her to use her Skill twice. This forces Lynette to take up more field time, but at C6, the second Skill cast allows for greater uptime on her Anemo-infused Normal Attacks.
Freedom-Sworn – If you happen to have this 5-star Sword, Lynette is able to efficiently proc its passive in order to buff your team. Still, this is a valuable weapon, and there is considerable opportunity cost to putting it on Lynette.
Xiphos’ Moonlight – A 4-star Sword that grants Energy Recharge to the entire team based on Lynette’s Elemental Mastery stat. If using this Sword, Lynette should be built with full Elemental Mastery.
Skyward Blade – This 5-star Sword will give Lynette a bit more personal damage while also helping with her Energy Recharge.
Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, Festering Desire, or Amenoma Kageuchi – These are free 4-star options if you don’t have any of the above to spare. They do little aside from helping Lynette’s Energy generation.
Artifacts
4pc Viridescent Venerer (4VV) – The go-to set for Anemo characters. This allows Lynette to slot into a variety of teams as a 4VV support.
4pc Noblesse Oblige (4NO) – This is an option if you already have a 4VV holder in your team or if you don’t have a 4VV set to spare. It allows Lynette to provide a 20% ATK buff to her team when she casts her Burst.
4pc Emblem of Severed Fate (4EoSF) – Lynette benefits from both the 2pc and 4pc effects from this set, boosting her personal damage. However, unlike the other artifact sets above, 4EoSF will not buff the rest of your team.
Artifact Stats
Sands | Goblet | Circlet |
---|---|---|
ATK Energy Recharge Elemental Mastery | Anemo DMG Elemental Mastery | CRIT Rate/DMG Elemental Mastery |
Because Lynette is so flexible, her Energy Recharge needs will vary quite a lot from team to team. With Favonius Sword equipped, you should try for at least 180-200% ER.
Lynette can be built with standard DPS stats (ATK and CRIT) or with full EM. Her kit does not explicitly synergize with a full EM build, but it is still viable if she has 4VV equipped. If she is using Favonius Sword with an EM build, consider a CRIT Rate circlet to help her proc the weapon’s passive effect.
Teams
Lynette is a generic Anemo unit who can be slotted in anytime you require a 4VV holder in your team. As such, she can be played together with most other characters with Swirlable elements. Some examples include:
National – “National” is a community term that refers to the combination of Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Bennett. Lynette can reliably Swirl Pyro in order to increase Xiangling’s Pyro damage. She may also be able to Swirl Hydro with some setups to increase Xingqiu’s Hydro damage as well. Note that Lynette will need quite a lot of Energy Recharge in this team.
Electro-Charged – Combine your favorite Electro and Hydro characters to create an Electro-Charged team. Fischl, Beidou, and Xingqiu form the core of the classic Electro-Charged “taser” team. Since Lynette can be primarily off-field, you are free to replace Beidou or Xingqiu with an on-fielder instead, like Raiden or Tartaglia. Raiden in particular will help with team Energy needs. If Lynette is C6, she has the option to stay on-field using Normal Attacks to trigger Swirl.
