Getting that right build for a piece of gear in Warframe is challenging. Since there are at least eight mod slots you’re dealing with alongside an Arcane or two, there’s a lot to consider when it comes to putting a mod setup together. Because of that, you may want a little help to alleviate the endless trial and error. Here’s the best Phantasma Prime build in Warframe.
The best mods for the Phantasma Prime in Warframe
The Phantasma Prime is a shotgun with a high base Status Chance, the best reload speed of all shotguns, and some great base damage. With this in mind, you should build for Status Chance and Crit, while having a few other mods complementing this. These mods do just that:
- Galvanized Acceleration (Exilus)
- Galvanized Savvy
- Galvanized Hell
- Shotgun Barrage
- Toxic Barrage
- Primed Chilling Grasp
- Primed Charged Shell
- Critical Deceleration
- Primed Ravage
Alongside supporting the Status Chance and Crit, Galvanized Acceleration helps make that beam connect with targets just a little easier. Galvanized Hell and Shotgun Barrage also helps give the weapon a little more staying power and raw DPS. If you don’t have the Galvanized or Primed versions of these mods, feel free to use their regular versions. Just be mindful that this will result in reduced power of the build.
Which Arcane is worth using?
If you’re looking for raw DPS with the Phantasma Prime, the best Arcane by far is Primary Deadhead. Since this shotgun is a beam rather than a spread, targeting headshot kills isn’t too bad. With it only needing to stack three times, and those stacks lasting 24 seconds each, it’s a lot of damage for very little work. While some other Arcanes like Shotgun Vendetta aren’t bad, they aren’t nearly as effective.
