Bethesda has officially announced a brand new “first-person stealth/action adventure” game, Dishonored. The full details are in the latest issue of Game Informer, because Game Informer is now where all videogame announcements happen.
Arkane Studios is working on the game and has some serious talent on board. Deus Ex designer Harvey Smith acts as co-creative director, while Viktor Antonov, the man who designed Half-Life 2‘s City 17, is helping to craft the game world.
Dishonored is all about setting traps and slipping in and out of fortifications without leaving a trace. “Brutal violence” and the ability to “slaughter an entire garrison” are promised, along with player choice and moral twists.
So that is a thing!
