In the past few years, there have been a few truths that I have come to realize in the realm of PC gaming: Valve will always treat its fans like gold, there will always be way too many indie bundles to buy, and CD Projekt RED and GOG.com are best friends forever.
In regards to the latter, the dynamic duo plan on hosting a live webcast on October, 18 2012 at 18:00 GMT to discuss a wide array of topics. CD Projekt RED will unveil the official name of its newest IP based on the tabletop RPG Cyberpunk, as well as more details about the project and release information on The Witcher 2 for Mac.
GOG.com is keeping its lips sealed, only coyly saying that it’s looking forward to bringing its library of PC games to a new operating system. Hmm…what OS could they possibly mean? Like most of their announcements, they’ll also reveal a number of new titles, as well as other promotions coming up.
The webcast will be streamed from both GOG.com as well as The Witcher Facebook page. Considering their crazy huge library of games, and all of the extras they pack into most of their releases, I can’t wait to see what new titles GOG.com has in store for us.
