Big ol’ DSi LL gets a Europe release date: March 5th

Recommended Videos

The eye-blastingly large screened DSi that was released in Japan late last year is now coming to the West. Not our west, but Europe. Nintendo has announced a March 5th release date for EU for the DSi XL, and I’m guessing that our release date isn’t much farther off. The Euro system is packed with DSiWare like Dr Kawashima’s: Little Bit of Brain Training: Arts Edition and Dictionary 6 in 1 with Camera Function, as well as the Nintendo DSi Browser.

[heavy breathing noises]

I guess I didn’t realize how much bigger the screens are. Mmmm. It turns out that they’re 93 percent larger than my old one. Long and strong at 4.2 inches. Bigger and wider (viewing angle). You should feel the new shaft on the implement you play with. It’s huge when compared to my old one. Ooh, and a camera or two? Kinky.

Okay, that was a stretch. Sorry. The word is that we should hear something any day now on our release date.
