Dragon Age: Origins wasn’t much of a looker, especially the console versions of the tech-handicapped RPG, but BioWare is doing the work required to make the next Dragon Age visually impressive, or “super hot” to be just a tad more specific.
“I can confirm that we’re doing a lot of work on the Dragon Age engine,” the studio’s VP Greg Zeshuk told Joystiq in a recent conversation, “and doing a lot of stuff to pump it — to make it visually super hot.”
We’re not exactly sure what that means, but if it has anything to do with not falling through monster bodies, getting stuck in pieces of the environment, or dealing with 20 frames-per-second during the game’s oh-so-bloody conclusion, then well, we’re totally all about having a “super hot” Dragon Age 2.
