Every year, people have the opportunity to disappear off the face of the Earth, never to return (probably) by entering the annual Edmonton Corn Maze. This year, BioWare’s local development studio took the opportunity to craft the maze of maize.

The ten-acre labyrinth features the company logo and a fifty-foot Javelin suit, as worn by players in BioWare’s upcoming open-world shooter, Anthem. General manager Aaryn Flynn said of the venture: “It’s pretty cool to think when the first characters got drawn years ago, to imagine there would be a corn-based implementation.. I don’t think anybody would have guessed that.”

He’s not wrong.

The maze, which opened yesterday, is available to visit until October 24. As for the game itself, Anthem is expected to launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC late 2018.
