If you’re a person who loves to crack open hookers in order to experience the wonders of human innards or enjoy a rousing session of Mortal Kombat, sit down for this one: Midway Games are working on Mortal Kombat 9 and according to head honcho and kreator of the venerable franchise Ed Boon, it will be rated “Mature.”
Earlier this afternoon (that whole “BREAKING” thing was a joke; har har.) Ed Boon spilled the Mortal Kombat 9 and violence beans with a forceful tweet. “People want an M-rated MK … dammit, we will give them an M-rated MK.”
So, yeah, it looks like Midway is kicking the Bat and Flash to the curb and unshackling Mortal Kombat. It’s a good move. Nobody hates detached spinal cords. In fact, every game should have at least two of them.
