Deals brought to you by the crew at Dealzon. Updated below now that the game is released! FYI: sales from certain retailers go toward supporting Destructoid.

Another year, another Call of Duty installment is upon us. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare heads to store shelves Tuesday next week — unless you pre-order, in which case you’d get early access on Monday. (All the info you see below is also updated regularly here).

Gamers will appreciate that Advanced Warfare is not a title with retailer-specific pre-order exclusives, so the buying decision is a lot easier and comes mainly down to your retailer of preference, along with any additional incentives they offer.

Here are the stores with actual incentives beyond the standard pre-order bonuses. They all offer “Day Zero” Editions which grant 24-hour early access.

Here’s all the available release day deals on Advanced Warfare:

Below contain details on some of the pre-order deals.

PC Deal Detail:

This is a straight up discount in lieu of any other additional bonuses. As mentioned, you must be logged in to see the VIP deals (if you don’t see the deal after creating an account, just click the link again and you’ll see the deal).

Generally GMG sends out the Steam key a few days before release so it’ll be available for pre-load come November 3rd. Pretty straight forward stuff.

Update: Now that the game is essentially released, the Day Zero edition for the PC is no longer available and you’ll be getting the standard edition at the listed discount price.

Xbox One/360 Deal Detail:

If you get Advanced Warfare at Microsoft Store, they’re tossing in a bonus $10 Xbox gift card or 15,000 in Xbox Live Rewards points ($15 worth of points good towards anything on Xbox Live). The Xbox gift card is also redeemable on Xbox Live.

To get this deal, just make sure you’re a Xbox Live Rewards member (free to sign up here) and your Microsoft Store account matches the email address on your Xbox Live account and you’ll receive 15,000 points to spend on Xbox Live.

Beyond the $10 or $15 worth of Xbox points, Microsoft will happily guarantee you free release date arrival shipping if you pre-order by Thursday, October 27 at 2PM Pacific. This offer is only available to the continental 48 states in areas with overnight service.

    PS4/3 Deal Detail:

The My Best Buy Rewards account is free to sign up, and the rewards certificate doesn’t expire. You’ll get the value credited to your account within 15 days. This is the best deal for PS4 or PS3 owners thinking about Advanced Warfare.

If you’re a Gamers Club Unlocked member (this one costs money), you’ll also get 20% off in additional to the $10 in rewards. While free release day delivery is not an option at Best Buy, you can choose free store pickup and still get the game come Nov. 3.

      Other Retailers:

Walmart is offering free release date arrival for those who pre-order the Day One Edition. Walmart does not tell us the cut off date for when you need to pre-order by to get release date arrival shipping, so be sure to double-check the arrival date at checkout.

What about GameStop and Amazon? Beyond the standard pre-order offers, neither of these stores offer any additional incentives — somewhat surprising, as GameStop almost always has some exclusive, however inconsequential. Both retailers offer release day delivery, but you’d have to pay extra for the overnight or one-day shipping options. Meh to that.

        Pre-Order Bonuses for Advanced Warfare

In addition to the monetary incentives, here’s what you’ll receive with any pre-order, no matter the retailer:

        • Day Zero Edition: This gets you the aforementioned early start and double XP on November 3.
        • Advanced Arsenal: Receive a “Bullet Brass Exoskeleton” and “Bullet Brass EM1 Quantum Weapon” (These are cosmetic as far as we know.)

        The Expensive Editions

If you’re a huge CoD fan and feel like upgrading to first class, there are a few physical items and in-game bonuses to be had in the “Atlas Pro,” “Digital Pro,” and “Atlas” Editions.

Note that none of these premium editions come with additional pre-order perks like the aforementioned rewards or free expedited shipping. It kind of makes sense when you think about it, as those thinking about a more expensive collector’s edition are probably already well-motivated and won’t require additional incentives.

The TL:DR; of this is if you own an Xbox 360/One, you should consider Microsoft Store as your pre-order option. If you own a PlayStation 3/4, you should consider Best Buy as the retailer of choice. PC? The
