Capcom may be bring back an old series, now with Natal

I could give a rat’s ass about Natal. I’m yet to see anything for the motion controller that excites me. That’s more of a reflection of the thing’s current game line-up than anything else.

“What game line-up?” you ask?

Exactly.

Sounds like that might be changing though. Capcom is teasing a new game for Natal that will be based on “a brand you haven’t seen in a while”. I’m guessing this is the same motion controlled game that Capcom’s Seth Killian hinted at in our recent talk, which has had me excited all week.

There are a lot of Capcom brands that haven’t been seen in a while; Final Fight, Strider, and Viewtiful Joe just to name a few. Would I actually want to see any of those series brought back with motion controls? It’s hard to imagine. In fact, I can’t even imagine how I’ll walk forward in a Natal-controlled game. Kicking soccer balls I get, and rolling Katamaris I get, but walking around Metro City and kicking ass? How could that work?

I’d really like to kick Andore Jr in the face with my actual foot, so here’s hoping.
