Catherine has become a source for debate in the Destructoid offices, as we attempt to work out whether or not the game will be good. Everything is looking hopeful, but my expression of concern that the game won’t live up to its ballsy concept has had me written off as a hater.
Oh well, perhaps a Japanese exclusive special edition will sweeten the deal?
The Catherine Famitsu DX Pack, courtesy of Enterbrain, is unlikely to make it Westward. And by unlikely, I mean it’s never going to happen to go cry into your porridge like a sad little boy. If you just so happen to be in Japan when the game launches, however, you can nab this stuff:
- Three 297×420 posters
- An “arm rest mini cushion” based on the game’s pillow item
- Telephone cards featuring original Shigenori Soejima artwork.
- Art book (also comes with regular edition)
- SoundDisk (also comes with regular edition)
Looks pretty cool, but of course I hate Catherine now so what do I know?
