You typically see case mods done on PCs instead of consoles, but every now and then someone decides their 360 needs some spicing up.
Over on the official Gearbox forums, user ‘The Gh0st’ (no relation) showed off her awesome creation. The four playable characters of Borderlands on one side, a Psycho on the other, and the name of the game spelled across the faceplate. In addition, she made part of it see-through and added a whole bunch of LEDs. Apparently she missed the memo that the only cool LEDs are blue ones (it is scientifically proven that blue LEDs make your PC/console go faster), but despite the lack of blue, she’s ended up with a badass-looking 360.
More pics of the case are in the gallery below. To gain an appreciation for how long the process took, and to see more pics of the overall design and construction process, check out her Twitter and poke through the archives. The entire project from start to finish looks like it took almost 5 months — a ton of work, but worth it for the awesomeness of the finished product.
