Child’s Play is one of the few movies to truly terrify me as a child, and one I never watched in full until I was an adult. Dolls are scary at the best of times, but murderous ones voiced by Brad Dourif are ten times more horrifying. Oh, and now it’s getting a videogame!
TikGames, a company known best for producing mobile and downloadable casual games, has decided that it’s the right studio to build a game around the infamous Chucky. It’s going to be a stealth-based game in which players take on the role of the killer doll and take out opponents.
“We’re proud to be able to bring a fan-favorite movie character, such as Chucky, to gaming platforms,” said co-found Alex Tikman. “Fans have been asking for a Chucky game for years and, soon, gamers around the world will be able to enjoy highly-entertaining, interactive, downright gory experiences with this brand.”
Well … when I woke up today I didn’t think I’d ever be writing this story. Life’s full of surprises.
