VG247 visited Victory Games, the development studio behind the upcoming Command & Conquer reboot, to bring some extensive video coverage of the free-to-play strategy title. Highlights of the video include alpha gameplay footage that looks pretty solid, information on the three factions that will be available at launch, and plans for how they are approaching Command & Conquer as a free-to-play game.

Tim Orton, the senior development director, describes the setting as being in the near future, confirming lasers in addition to conventional modern weaponry. Although the deadly beams of light were discussed in the video, none were shown in the alpha footage. Show us the lasers!
