Originally thought to be canceled and then just “on hold,” the PlayStation 3 version of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 is making its way to retail this March.
If names are to be believed, the PS3 version of the game is like, totally the best one you can get. The game is being called Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition, and is just like the versions released last year. Just like, a lot better.
Better how? Well, it’s on a Blu-ray disc, for one. All of that extra space means a bunch of bonus content including: five new multiplayer maps; behind-the-scenes videos including Raising the Iron Curtain documentary, From Pens to Pixels, the Girls of Red Alert 3 (rowr!), and Bloopers & Outtakes; exclusive Command & Conquer TV programming; in-depth profiles on all of the game’s units; and the official soundtrack.
That’s a lot of stuff, isn’t it? See, it’s ultimate. At least the name is justified.
[Update: There’s now a new trailer after the jump.]
