Crackdown 2 was released yesterday, and those who bothered to check out the game’s Avatar Awards will have discovered that plans are already in place for premium DLC.
This content will be required in order to unlock certain Awards that are currently unobtainable, meaning that when Ruffian could have been spending time and money to create a Crackdown 2 that wasn’t an expansion pack, it was instead working on DLC. That’s actually kind of insulting.
Two add-on packs have been outed — Toybox and Deluge. Little is known about them, except for the fact that to unlock the awards, you’ll need to complete “Fly Swat” in Toybox, and play fifteen minutes of “Maim” in Deluge. Maybe this is where all the original content is hiding? Who knows?
