Valve has just announced that Crytek’s first-person shooters Crysis and Crysis Warhead will be making their way to Steam. Both titles can be pre-purchased this weekend and will be made available for download sometime after Warhead’s retail release next week.
“The millions of gamers logging into Steam every week to play today’s best PC games are going to love Crysis Warhead,” said Avni Yerli, Managing Director at Crytek. “Crytek Hungary has done a terrific job creating this new experience while optimizing CryEngine 2, and we’re looking forward to delivering it and the original Crysis as our first offerings on Steam.”
If you’re one of those “millions of gamers,” but your PC can’t quite manage Crysis or its big brother, then (assuming you don’t want to buy a new one to match) you might be more interested in the far less demanding Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest. The game is available for pre-purchase right now, and, if bought before September 19, will come with a copy of Darwinia thrown in for free.
