Video game cosplays miss first place, but dominate Sexpo
You know what they say about sex: gotta have it. And Sydney has it in droves as the host-city for sex expo Sexpo. Incidentally that’s also what we’re calling E3 this year as Destructoid fits me, Brett, Jordan, Kyle, and Zack horizontally over one twin mattress. It’ll be like a package of all-beef franks.
In Sexpo’s (still a great name!) first ever cosplay contest, a combination of judges and crowd hollering anointed one winner — Vandolly Cosplay’s Harley Quinn –the recipient of $2,000 Australian dollars (close to $1,500 in American monies). The final four boiled down to the aforementioned psych doc, a Lollipop Chainsaw, a Cubone, and an Umbreon.
And, really, for an event called Sexpo (hah!) I’m not seeing anything that much more revealing or risque than at other cosplay-filled events, but the Kotaku write up on the event makes it seem like everyone had a lovely time, so good on folks dressing sexy and having fun.
