Bigger is better, right guys? Oh yeah?
“Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before,” said visual effects artist Jose Teixeira speaking to MCV. “Far, far bigger.”
“Working on The Witcher 3 was a really good and often brutal learning experience,” he said. “Cyberpunk is going to benefit greatly from it. I can almost guarantee it.”
I personally haven’t played The Witcher 3 (shame on me, I know) but from what I’ve heard, it is a quite expansive game, so sounds like CD Projekt Red us setting lofty goals for Cyberpunk 2077, which still doesn’t have a release date.
In just a few days, The Witcher 3 is getting its first paid expansion called Hearts of Stone that is said to add 10 hours of content, with another expansion in the works. I don’t expect to see Cyberpunk 2077 anytime soon.
