If you played Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny then you may already be familiar with this quirky jack-of-all-trades and self proclaimed master assassin. Luckily for those of you who missed out on the PSP-only offering, Namco will be offering Dampierre as a pre-order incentive for Soulcalibur V.
Unfortunately Namco is not saying, as of yet, where patrons should go to secure this extra character, if he is locked on the disk, or in fact completely downloadable. The folks at Namco did confirm that Dampierre will be available sometime after launch — I can only assume for a price — for those who miss out on the pre-order or perhaps pick up a used copy.
So what’s the hold up? Go pre-order a copy of one of 2012’s biggest fighting games now, at every major retailer, to guarantee your free Dampierre. Though I’m willing to bet that a certain one “stop” shop may be the place to go.
That being said, it should be pretty interesting to see him go toe-to-toe with the other recently announced master assassin, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, when the game hits January 31, 2012.
