Hurry up and get yours
Following the announcement of its sequel by way of a trailer reveal during the 2012 Spike VGAs, Dark Souls has been on a lot of lips for the past couple of weeks. For those who haven’t yet visited Lordran and have their interest piqued by all the hullabaloo, you’ll not likely have a better opportunity to pick up the game on the cheap than through a promotion running right this second on Amazon. The online retailer has listed both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game at a jaw-dropping $12.99.
I’ve already commented on what a brilliant strategy I thought the VGA announcement trailer was in terms of exposing a whole new audience to the series and expected to see a markdown sale to capitalize on it. But this? This is madness and shouldn’t even be a choice. If this price doesn’t push you to buy, I don’t think anything can, and I’m sorry we’ve all been wasting your time discussing the game lately. For the rest of you, act fast. Hard to say how long until somebody there changes their mind.
