Usually a preorder bonus releases alongside the game, but you’ll be waiting quite a long time for the Dead Island 2 character packs. Here’s what we know so far about the Dead Island 2 character packs.

The first Character Pack gives you the “Rodeo Sunset” costume and “Devil’s Horseshoes” weapon for Jacob. The second Character Pack provides the “Neurunner” skin and “Saimir & Julienne” weapon for Amy. Both are scheduled to release sometime this summer. They will be given to you if you have the Deluxe Edition, Gold Edition, or HELL-A Edition of Dead Island 2.

Despite the character packs failing to release in time for Dead Island 2‘s release, there is some other Dead Island 2 DLC content you can download. The Memories of Banoi Pack is available by preordering the Standard Edition or above. It has two weapons, the Banoi Baseball Bat and the Banoi War Club, as well as the “Personal Space” skill card.

Additionally, you can bling it up with the golden weapons pack (from the Gold Edition or above), using Sam B’s Pistol and Abuela’s Ashes Mace. If you have any of these content packs, you can redeem them on your console store of choice. There is also the expansion pass to consider. It will have two new chapters in the main story that feature “new missions, foes, weapons, abilities and areas of HELL-A to explore,” according to the content’s official description.
