Publisher Toybox has released a patch for the Nintendo Switch port of Swery’s weird adventure game Deadly Premonition Origins. The fix hopes to take care of some frustrating sound issues that have plagued the port since its surprise release last week.
“I’m sorry for your patience and would like to thank everyone who kindly reported it to us. Hope you enjoy the stay in Greenvale,” said the publisher on Twitter, referencing the strange and sleepy suburb that plays host to some grisly and bizarre murders. Unfortunately, while the replies note that the sound problems are much improved from their original state, the game seemingly remains in a somewhat glitchy state. Toybox has noted they will continue their efforts to fix these remaining woes.
Deadly Premonition Origins is available now on Nintendo Switch. A sequel, A Blessing in Disguise, is currently in development, with release expected in 2020.
