$49.99 for consoles, $39.99 for PC
The Deadpool game is dated! Yay! It’ll be out on June 25, 2013 and will run $49.99 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and $39.99 on the PC. Cheaper than your average game, and given how there’s so much sh*tty games priced at the “standard” prices there’s no way to tell if this is a good sign or bad sign. I really want the Deadpool game to be good, but I’m not so sure it will be.
But hey, if you want to give it a shot anyway there’s some pre-order bonuses you should be aware of. Pre-order from GameStop or EBGames and you’ll get the “Merc with a Map Pack” downloadable content which adds two new challenge maps, two costumes (D-Pooly and the Uncanny X-Force suits), and a digital wallpaper.
Pre-order from Amazon and you’ll get $5 Amazon credit towards select Marvel graphic novels, digital wallpaper, and digital cover sleeves.
I should also note that Activision will throw a party at whatever U.S. GameStop that gets the most pre-orders for Deadpool. Deadpool himself will even make an appearance. Radical.
