Demon’s Souls might be coming to PlayStation 4

To be announced at the PS Experience?

I know how many people love this game, so I’ll cut the preamble: Demon’s Souls might be coming to PS4.

The game put From Software on the map, and introduced the format now used yearly for the likes of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but up to now has been exclusive to the PlayStation 3.

A tweet made by the official Bloodborne account might be a sign that is changing, as it shows every retail release of Bloodborne, and then weirdly also a box for Demon’s Souls.

It’s worth noting that unlike Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Demon’s Souls are both games From developed with supervision from Sony Computer Entertainment. If any game was going to get a PS4 port tied into Bloodborne, it was going to be that.

Chances are we’ll hear about this remaster at the PlayStation Experience event in San Francisco this weekend (December 5-6), as producer SCE Japan Studio will be showing off some stuff there.

I’d be interested in a shiny PS4 Demon’s Souls. I like Bloodborne and loathe Dark Souls, but I thought Demon’s Souls was just kind of okay. It’ll be fun to take a look at it on the PS4, where it might finally click into place for me.
