After some technical difficulties last night, the great eye of the universe has finally opened. Gaze into it, and you will see the yesterday’s episode of The Destructoid Show.
In this episode, Nick Chester goes over new releases of the week, I shout moistly about Duty Calls and the Xperia Play, and then Tara rudely interrupts me to discuss those awful Angry Birds she’s so fascinated by. We discuss the lack of comedy in games, and how Tim Schafer went to my high school. Our journalistic integrity goes into overdrive while I talk about the ESRB’s report on Dragon Age II, and finally, the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Facebook outreach program might get you free DLC. We also play back some of the filthy, nasty voicemails you fine folks left for us.
Guess what: Wednesday’s show will be our 50th episode! How rad is that? Let us know in the comments what kinds of silly things we should do to celebrate. (No 4Loko, please. Urgh.)
Spoiler alert: For some reason, I decided to dress like a high-stakes gamblin’ man who spends all his time hanging out on riverboats and making wealthy young debutants swoon. Or bootlegging.
