Oh, year end awards, how you divide and rile up the gaming community. We here at Destructoid recently had long internal discussions about our “Game of the Year” choices, finally narrowing it down to five of our favorite games released in 2009.
We knew not everyone would agree, but that’s why they’re our “Game of the Year” choices. Still, we wanted to soothe the savage Internet beast, and pulled out the big guns to keep everyone calm — Lady Gaga and dance routines. Obviously.
Here are our nominees, in case you missed them:
