Deus Ex: HR Directors Cut no longer Wii U exclusive

Another Wii U exclusive bites the dust

[Update: Square Enix has informed us that the PS3 version will utilize Vita touchscreen support, and the 360 version will use Smartglass.]

After stating that content from the Director’s Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution would be staying on the Wii U, it appears as if the game will be headed to platforms other than the Wii U. That’s right, the game is now appearing on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac platforms. So everything basically.

This isn’t really a surprise, as it was bound to happen at some point after the Wii U version was saturated, but I didn’t expect an announcement so soon like this. Oh well, now even more people can enjoy the new content than before — that’s great, right? The new content involves extra missions, enhanced boss battles, Missing Link DLC, and improved mechanics and combat.
