Deus Ex: Human Revolution is done, ready to ship to North American shelves on August 23.
The word comes from the game’s art director, Jonathan Jacques-Belletete, who broke the news that the game has gone gold today on Twitter today. Jacques-Belletete is the man to thank for the game’s striking visuals, and may have unintentionally become the model for the game’s protagonist, Adam Jensen (according to an interview with PC Gamer).
I’ve been fortunate enough to play through the opening hours of Human Revolution, and was shocked by how invested I became in the game’s world. Brad Nicholson recently previewed the same section of the game, and came away equally as impressed.
