Gorgeous platformer coming next month
Devolver Digital has announced a release date for Nomada Studios’ stunning-looking platform adventure, Gris. The new title will arrive on Nintendo Switch and PC in December. A sublime trailer shows off game’s arresting visual design.
The title “Gris” refers to the game’s titular protagonist, a young girl who, over the course of the adventure, will come to terms with her many emotions, also reflected in her clothing and the platformer’s lush surroundings. The new trailer showcases some of the puzzles and dangers that Gris will encounter on her journey.
There’s no doubt that the game is looking stunning. Here’s hoping that the gameplay experience delivers as well as these watercolor, dreamlike visuals. We’ll find out soon enough, when Gris launches on PC and Nintendo Switch December 13.
