Specs also detailed, so pay attention.
Tripwire Interactive has confirmed that a “deluxe” digital edition will be available for upcoming Killing Floor 2.
In addition to all the extra goodies — which include a digital soundtrack, digital artbook and a whole mess of stuff for characters, including DJ Scully (with unique voice pack and set of face/body skins) and additional cosmetic items including stuff like virtual 3D glasses and a bowler hat (yes, really – for Mr. Foster and Rev. Albert) — you’ll also be able to double your floor killing prowess with a free (digital) copy of the original Killing Floor.
Wondering what your PC needs to be able to do to run Killing Floor 2? As a minimum, the developers are recommending that your PC has the following:
- CPU: Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz or Phenom II X2 545
- GPU: GeForce GTS 250 or Radeon HD 4830
- RAM: 3GB
- OS: Win7 64
The recommendations, however, as are follows:
- CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz or Phenom II X4 955
- GPU: GeForce GTX 560 or Radeon HD 6950
- RAM: 4GB
- OS: Win7 64
The Killing Floor 2 Digital Deluxe Edition will retail for $39.99 (US), £26.99 (UK), €36.99 (EU). The base edition — that’s the version without 3D glasses and bowler hats — will be available via Steam Early Access from April 21 for $29.99 (US), ₤19.99 (UK) and €26.99 (EU).
