Can you play Wuthering Waves with a controller?

During a special broadcast, the game’s development team states, “We are largely done with the gamepad controller support,” indicating that Wuthering Waves will have controller supportHowever, it’s important to note that the availability of this feature at launch is still uncertain, depending on the game’s progress.

Wuthering Waves’ controller support has undergone significant development. Initially absent during the beta tests, it was a feature that players were keen to see. In response to their feedback, Kuro Game Studio finally worked on a new update to implement this mechanic, including customizable key settings. The studio also aims to improve experiences across all platforms for a much more responsive and smoother gameplay.

Considering that the special broadcast was revealed some time ago, controller support could be ready for the official release. It will likely include PlayStation 4 and 5 controller support, given that these devices will be available at a later date. Xbox may not be included, as Wuthering Waves has only been involved with PC, PlayStation, and mobile.

We’ll update this guide to confirm controller support availability upon launch. However, it may not arrive until afterward, possibly with a new update
