In honor of Halloween, GameTap has pulled together a pretty solid list of games that feature Mr. Death himself, the Grim Reaper.
The list includes obvious nods to Death Jr. and Grim Fandango, both stellar games that feature a reaper character. They even manage to throw in retro entries like Paperboy and Gauntlet.
Major nerd props (and gamer cred) to GameTap staff for the inclusion of both Romancing SaGa and games from the Shin Megami Tensei series. Anyone who’s played Persona 3 will tell you that it’s time to haul ass when you hear Death’s chains dragging on the ground in the distance. You have to be pretty damned toug (see above video) to take him on.
Good job, GameTap. Was there any that they missed? Was the addition of Guitar Hero a stretch?
