The World of Warcraft 19th Anniversary event is now live and will be for about three weeks. Alongside the experience and reputation buff, players can also seek out and fight a fel reaver named Doomwalker. We’ve put together a Doomwalker Boss Guide to help ensure you claim its rewards before the end of the WoW 10.2 19th Anniversary.
Where to find the Doomwalker
To find the Doomwalker, you need to head to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. There are portals to the Caverns located inside the portal room at both Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Once you take the portal, you want to immediately turn around and head outside as opposed to delving deeper into the Caverns of Time.
It’s hard to miss the colossal hulking fel reaver standing in front of the Caverns of Time. There will also likely be a group of people fighting it or waiting for its respawn, so you’ll know you are in the right place. If by chance there is no one there yet, and Doomwalker has not yet spawned, you want to wait around the top of the ramp leading up into the Caverns of Time.
Once he spawns he’s extremely easy to take down, especially if people are there with you to join the fight. He will occasionally stop the ground which will make you go flying backward, but it’s more so just a throwback to the fel reaver enemy in Hellfire Peninsula, not an actual challenging mechanic.
Rewards for defeating the Doomwalker
Defeating the Doomwalker will grant you exclusive rewards during the WoW 10.2 19th Anniversary event. First, you will receive the Azure Worldchiller mount, which can only be obtained by defeating the Doomwalker. Don’t worry, it’s a 100% drop chance, so you won’t have to kill the Doomwalker daily as is the case with some event mounts.
You’ll also receive the Doomwalker Trophy Stand. When used, the toy allows you to put down a little holographic of the Doomwalker’s helmet, showing off your trophy for taking down the boss. It’s just a cool little visual which can be placed down every five minutes.
