One of the finest WWII shooters
Tripwire Interactive has given the heads up that its multiplayer World War II shooter Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad will be free to download — and keep forever! — as part of a 24-hour deal on Steam, starting tomorrow. Help spread the word, if you would.
I look at this as a clever way to get grow the community with people who would in all likelihood otherwise never play the game. I only wish more developers were willing to try promotions like this.
The newer Rising Storm, which brings Red Orchestra 2 to the Pacific, will get a promo of its own soon. Be on the lookout for a free weekend and a discount to own the game permanently.
