With the Mana bar having great success in Melbourne, Australia it is great to be contacted by a similar bar hidden away on the south coast of England. The Loading Bar is based in Falmouth and provides gamers with a place to drink, relax, and play with its doors open from 10am till late, 7 days a week.
While the Loading Bar provides a whole host of modern and retro games to play, it also provides a chance to try out games prior to launch as last month saw Ubisoft’s Child of Eden playable — perfect for gamers who couldn’t make it to the Child of Eden Experience in London. They also stock their own blend of coffee, known affectionately as Mega (Drive) coffee, which is currently fueling the Dtoid EU office, as well as gaming themed cocktails.
Last month saw the EA sponsored cocktails for Alice: Madness Returns and you can even order our very own cocktail “The Destructoid” which was made specially for us by The Drunken Moogle. To finish it all off, The Loading Bar also hosts its very own gaming themed club nights for those who want to do a little bit more than just play games.
