A promotional poster for Dynasty Warriors 7 has outed the brand new look for series badass Lu Bu, and reactions have been … mixed … to say the least.
The new-look Lu Bu is not as “thick” as his previous incarnations, with a slimmer, younger looking warrior. Although still pretty beefy, he doesn’t resemble a giant walking tank like he used to, with a look that wouldn’t be out of place on Samurai Warriors‘ Keiji Maeda.
I’ve mostly loved all the character redesigns, but this one hasn’t really spoken to me. It looks okay, but it’s definitely not what I think of when I think about Lu Bu. What about you lot? Digging it at all?
