E3 10 : Destructoid and Gaijin: Hardcore talk after dark

Recommended Videos

If you’ve been keeping track, you’ll know that I’ve been a part of two edited E3 10 videos (one pre-show, one post-show) and countless non-edited videos. Compared to last year, where every video was edited, and that’s a lot more “uncut and uncensored” action. There are a lot of reasons for that, but one of the bigger ones is involves my long-time video producer Andy McCarthy. As soon as he got back from E3, he had to start editing his TV Show The Batter’s Box. No more editing for me.

Why am I telling you all this? I guess I’m pre-apologizing to those with a delicate constitution. In this semi-sequel to Bit Transmission episode 7, things get pretty raw. There is a fair amount of swearing and other “M” rated material enclosed. We start by talking about hardcore games, but the conversation quickly turns to hardcore porn, Oprah, and… other things. And we’re totally not drunk, which is awesome.

These are the same guys that can communicate through special means (or as the lovely Hollie Bennett calls them, “crisps”) so you can expect things to get unusual. That’s a good thing. Still, if I had my druthers (and my video editor), I would have at least thrown some beeps over the swears, and maybe cut the stuff out about ten-inch-long penises. I also have no idea what I’m going to do with the next part of this impromptu video-podcast, because that video is ten minutes long. Hopefully I’ll think of something.

Oh, and I’ve asked the guys at Gaijin to run a chip-eating video remix contest. Here’s hoping they go for it. There’s already been one remix so far, and it’s pretty nice. Guile’s theme might have been better though. If you do some remixes, maybe I can get them to send you stuff?
