Crackdown 2 might not have been a focal point of Microsoft’s E3 keynote, but it’s still on the show floor in playable form. Though the series has shifted developers from Realtime Worlds to Ruffian Games, all the things that made the first game so much fun — the crazy jumps, the chases and the firefights — seem to be in the sequel, at least in the gameplay video above. Plus, check out the new look for the player’s Agent. I’m liking the full-armored styling a lot.
Crackdown 2 drops on July 6 (or July 9 for our European friends) and I can’t wait to play it myself. At least this time, no one has to worry about Xbox 360 owners buying it for a Halo: Reach beta …
