If you’re ready to take a break from the ongoing excitement of E3 2007 and you happen to own an Xbox 360, downloading the demo for THQ and Paradigm’s latest game, Stuntman: Ignition, is a good idea. If you can handle the inevitable anger and frustration that is.
If you have no clue what Stuntman: Ignition is about, the name pretty much says it all. You play as a stuntman that must drive through various “levels” while performing certain objectives such as jumping off of ramps, setting your car on fire, and launching missiles at the bad guys. Ignition pretty much sets you up to fail … a lot, but that makes winning so much more satisfying.
I’ve never played the original Stuntman, so I can’t comment on what’s been changed or improved upon — you’ll have to find that out for yourself by downloading the demo. Stuntman: Ignition hits PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 this August, so if you like what you see, it’s not that long of a wait.
